PlanetFix: Climate Change Solutions - Student Competition

We're calling on SA students to find climate change solutions.


In partnership with The Advertiser, the Environment Institute has launched PlanetFix, an exciting competition for high school students in years 8-12.

搁别辩耻颈谤别诲:听In 50 words or less, what is your best solution to climate change?

Released in Saturday's edition of听, the competition encourages students to think about the best ways to solve one of the most pressing issues of their time.

As leaders of tomorrow, we are looking for imaginative听solutions. Ideas may come in many forms, such as changing lifestyle, encouraging action in community and government, high tech devices or nature-based solutions. However, we want to hear from you.

What do you think would be the best idea to solve climate change? Tell us in 50 words or less. Entry is free.

The Environment Institute will help students to expand their idea and then with assistance of journalists at The Advertiser, it will be developed into a solution for society and published. The process of developing this article will be an amazing experience for students. Find out more details about the process.




Prizes



  1. The winner will receive a $500 cash prize and their final article printed in The Advertiser.

  2. The runner up will receive $300.

  3. The second runner up will receive $200.

  4. The 12 finalists will receive specially designed certificates and a 12-month online subscription to the Advertiser valued at $260 each
