Biological Sciences Postgraduate Symposium recap
The School of Biological Sciences at the 成人大片 recently hosted their听Annual Postgraduate Symposium.
The symposium showcased the amazing academic achievements of the School鈥檚 postgraduate students through posters and talks, including听the ever-exciting 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) School heats. Attendees were also treated to a panel session on the topic of "Communication and Collaboration", featuring听听(ACAD), 听(DEWNR), (UniSA) and (UofA). Corri Baker gave a presentation entitled "Scientists are Social: Altmetrics, Twimpact Factor and your online reputation".
Various awards were given out on the day to our hard-working students. Jasmin Wilson took out the award for Best Student Talk, with Melissa Jensen as the runner up. Amy Ianella and Tanya Jayne shared equal first place at the 3MT heats. Poster prizes were awarded to听Louise Sternicki and Joshua Pandong in first and second place, respectively, while Shannon David took out the people's choice.
