Underwater vents allow peek into the future

, a marine ecologist from the 成人大片's Environment Institute was recently interviewed by WIRED about his research into ocean acidification.

Carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere is being absorbed by the sea, making the oceans increasingly more acidic. Associate Professor Nagelkerken's research involved studying underwater vents where carbon dioxide is naturally released into the ocean to get an idea of what the future of our oceans will be like.

"There will always be winners and losers of climate change," says Nagelkerken, and his research indicates it may not be a positive outcome for some marine creatures or humans in the future.
