Conference presentations reach 30 000 views

In December 2011 the Australian Centre for Evolutionary Biology and Biodiversity at the Environment Institute co-hosted the at the 成人大片.

The conference was the first international barcode conference held in the Southern Hemisphere and brought together 463 participants from 61 countries. It addressed a range of Barcoding applications and developments, including: illegal wildlife and timber trade; pest and disease diagnostics; forensics; quarantine identifications; environmental monitoring and assessment; animal, plant and microbial systematics; and Beyond Barcoding.

The Environment Institute recorded each of the plenary presentations, as well as all of the key presentations held over the duration of the week. Each of these 71 recordings and powerpoint presentations were then combined into slideshare presentations so that delegates, and people who were unable to attend, could view them online at a later stage. These slideshare presentations have been fantastically received and have now reached approximately 30 000 views in total!
