Andy Thomas' message of support for students
Adelaide-born astronaut Dr Andy Thomas, AO, is the latest of our prominent alumni to send a message of support to students during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Thomas, a ³ÉÈË´óƬ engineering graduate, was the first Australian NASA astronaut to go into space and is patron of the University’s Centre for Sustainable Planetary and Space Resources.
This message is thanks to the collaboration between the ³ÉÈË´óƬ and Adelaide University Union (AUU) to help support students’ wellbeing during the global pandemic.
