Professional Reflective Journal
The skills of professionals are developed in the void between theory and practice (teaching and doing). This assessment is designed to evaluate a student’s ability to reflect on their behaviour, abstract and applied learning in the development of professional skills. It specifically uses professional reflection framework as the process through which implicit learning can be made explicit, understood and built upon.
Your Learning Ecosystem
Adapting quickly to changing circumstances, having transferable skills and being able to fill gaps in skills and learning are core to success in future economies. Core to these skills is the ability to evaluate gaps, find resources and develop a clear understanding of the support structures available to move forward. This assessment is designed to evaluate a student’s ability identify, analyse and evaluate the formal and informal learning opportunities, spaces, organisations and people that contribute to their personal professional development and support.
Your Professional Portfolio
Provide a portfolio of your professional self.

Student Feedback
The University places a high priority on approaches to learning and teaching that enhance the student experience. Feedback is sought from students in a variety of ways including on-going engagement with staff, the use of online discussion boards and the use of Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys as well as GOS surveys and Program reviews.
SELTs are an important source of information to inform individual teaching practice, decisions about teaching duties, and course and program curriculum design. They enable the University to assess how effectively its learning environments and teaching practices facilitate student engagement and learning outcomes. Under the current SELT Policy (http://www.adelaide.edu.au/policies/101/) course SELTs are mandated and must be conducted at the conclusion of each term/semester/trimester for every course offering. Feedback on issues raised through course SELT surveys is made available to enrolled students through various resources (e.g. MyUni). In addition aggregated course SELT data is available.
