Course Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1 Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the latest research and development of leadership theories and practice in a project team setting; 2 Competently use research and professional practice tools for a range of contemporary leadership issues affecting organisations; 3 Develop and analyse the interaction and responsibilities of those in leadership roles within organisations through an awareness of current leadership and management theories and governance practices; 4 Recognise the personality profile of yourself and others, and how it affects leadership behaviours in different parts of the project; 5 Develop competence in communication and engagement approaches, including recognition of emotional intelligence, communicating with staff, including giving feedback, managing teams, and influencing others including managing conflict 6 Develop competence in recognition of the need for continued personal professional development and maintain ethical, social and cultural standards on projects. Student Feedback
