    2 Describe the historical development of nursing knowledge, in particular nursing philosophies, models and theories.
    3 Critique the relationship between nursing theories and their application to practice
    4 Evaluate the role of other disciplines in the development of nursing as a profession and describe and promote the contribution of nursing in a multidisciplinary team.
    5 Discuss the components of successful management and apply these to the practice setting.

    The University places a high priority on approaches to learning and teaching that enhance the student experience.
