On your marks for Vice-Chancellor's Cup The annual Vice-Chancellor's Cup footrace will be run at the North Terrace Campus on Friday 10 September. The event is a running race (in the form of a relay) through the campus grounds between the University's five faculties and the Division of Services and Resources. The winning team will be awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Cup, which is currently held by the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences. National Wine Centre wins catering awards The 成人大片's National Wine Centre of Australia has won three prestigious Restaurant & Catering SA awards. At the annual industry awards held in July, the National Wine Centre won Caterer of the Year, as well as Best Function Centre and Best Wedding Caterer. Located at the corner of Botanic and Hackney Roads in Adelaide, the National Wine Centre offers flexible function venues for between 10 to 1000 guests. Inaugural Innovation in Food Lecture Are 'refined' carbohydrates worse than saturated fat? That's the question being discussed by Professor Jennie Brand-Miller (University of Sydney) at the Inaugural Innovation in Food Lecture this month. The Innovation in Food Lecture will be held at the Plant Research Centre Auditorium, Waite Campus, at 4.00pm on Monday 6 September. Professor Jennie Brand-Miller is recognised internationally for her work on carbohydrates and diabetes. Her books have sold more than 3.5 million copies worldwide and appeared in 12 languages. The lecture is named after the world-class FOODplus Research Centre, which is a joint venture between the 成人大片 and the Women's and Children's Health Research Institute.
