Friends of the 成人大片 Library Event: 'A warrant to the Great Wardrobe for your Majesty's Maundy' The Barr Smith Library holds an original warrant signed by Queen Elizabeth I on 16 March 1579. Dr Helen Payne's presentation on this document, its context and significance, offers a fascinating glimpse into the tradition of the Maundy ceremony held on Easter Thursday, as it was both prepared for and practised at Elizabeth's court.
